instillness:

I loved all of your suggestions! One thing I noticed was being mentioned a lot was a self portrait. This was something I was completely terrified of up until this year, but successfully completeled my first one this year for drawing class. It was a good exercise but had to be done in carbon pencil, which isn’t my preferred medium. It’s funny those of you who mentioned wanted to see another self portrait because I currently have some in the works (this time, in my favourite medium)! This is one, which is a collaboration I’m doing with a friend of mine, Jordan (who I met in drawing class coincientally), is just started and it is like a self portrait of both of us. I’ll soon be handing it off to him to add some of his own style to it. He specializes in really graphic illustrations and graffiti, so I can’t wait to see how it will turn out because our styles are so different, which was the ultimate goal of the piece. I’m actually so inspired by all of your suggestions! Thank you!
